What the checker does with your file.
Is this really a free ATS resume checker?
Yes. The scan and full report are free, need no account, and do not use an AI credit. You only use a credit if you explicitly ask ResumeGet to structure the extracted text into an editable draft.
Do you save the resume I upload?
Not during the scan. The server extracts and checks the text for the response, then discards it. The browser keeps the result only on the current page. Clicking Fix in builder is a separate action that creates a private draft.
Which files can I check?
PDF, DOCX, and plain-text files up to 8 MB. The extracted-text preview matters: if the order looks broken there, a real parser may struggle too.
Can a checker guarantee that an ATS accepts my resume?
No. ATS products and employer configurations differ. This tool simulates common extraction, structure, evidence, and readability checks, and explains every finding instead of promising an outcome.
