01Agreement to these terms

By creating an account, buying anything, or otherwise using ResumeGet (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02Who we are

The Service (“ResumeGet”) is operated by Cloudtech Consulting Sp. z o.o.(“we”, “us”, or “our”), a limited-liability company registered in Poland, with its registered office at ul. Marynarska 13, 02-674 Warsaw, Poland, tax identification number (NIP) 5213964457. You can reach us at contact@resume-get.com.

03Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is your own and is accurate.

04The service

ResumeGet helps you build resumes and cover letters that survive automated applicant-tracking systems (ATS), checks them against common parsing and readability rules, offers evidence-grounded AI assistance, matches your resume against job descriptions, and exports finished documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, JSON).

Building and checking are free. Some actions — downloading a finished file, an all-formats day pass, AI credits beyond the free starter grant, and the optional Enhanced encryption upgrade — are paid, one-time charges. See Pricing & payment.

05Your account

• You are responsible for your login credentials and for everything done under your account. Keep your password private.
• Tell us promptly at contact@resume-get.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Changing your password signs out all other sessions.
• We apply rate limits and other automated protections to sign-in and sign-up. Don’t try to defeat them.

06Encryption options — and one irreversible choice

Every account’s document content is encrypted at rest. You choose how the encryption key is held:

• Standard (free, default). We hold a key that protects your data. Because we hold it, we can restore access if you forget your password.
• Enhanced (one-time fee). Your encryption key is derived from your password and we keep no copy of it. This is stronger — but it means there is no password reset that recovers your data. If you forget your password, your encrypted documents are permanently unreadable, by us and by you. Enhanced protection applies from the moment you activate it onward; documents that existed beforehand may persist in routine backups taken at the time, which we do not trawl or selectively delete. You confirm you understand this trade-off when you activate it.

07Your content & ownership

You own your content. Resumes, cover letters, the information you enter, and the documents you export are yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your content only as needed to run the Service for you (for example, to render an export or to perform an AI action you requested). We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train AI models.

The Service itself — the software, templates, checker, brand, and design — belongs to ResumeGet and its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or scrape the Service.

08AI features — assistance, not authorship

AI features (summaries, bullet rewrites, cover letters, tailoring) are tools to help you write. They are instructed to work only from what you provide and not to invent employers, dates, metrics, or skills. They can still make mistakes.

• You are the editor of record. You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of everything you keep and export. Review AI output before you use it.
• No outcome is guaranteed. The checker simulates common ATS and recruiter behavior; it cannot guarantee an interview, a job, or that any particular system will parse your file. No one can promise that, and you should distrust anyone who does.

09Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• misrepresent your identity or qualifications, or impersonate another person;
• upload or generate unlawful, infringing, or abusive content;
• abuse credits, payments, promotions, or free tiers, including by automating account creation;
• scrape, probe, overload, or interfere with the Service, or attempt to access data that isn’t yours;
• resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.

10Pricing & payment

• Everything is a one-time charge. There are no subscriptions and nothing auto-renews.
• Current prices: a single download is $1.99; a 24-hour all-formats download pass is $4.99; Enhanced encryption is a one-time $4.99; AI credit packs are $2.99 (20 credits) and $9.99 (100 credits); new accounts include 3 free credits. The exact amount is always shown before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t receive or store your full card number. Your purchase is also subject to Stripe’s terms.
• Prices may change over time, but a change never affects a purchase you’ve already made. Stated prices may exclude taxes, which are added where required.

11Refunds

Purchases unlock digital goods that are delivered or consumed immediately (a download, a time-limited pass, AI credits, an encryption upgrade), so sales are generally final. However, if we fail to deliver something you paid for, if you were charged in error, or if the law where you live gives you a refund right, contact us at contact@resume-get.com and we will make it right. Refunds, where issued, are returned through Stripe to your original payment method.

12Records we keep

We keep a record of each purchase (amount, currency, Stripe identifiers, and entitlement state) as our financial books. These purchase records are retained even after you delete your account — with personal delivery details removed — so we can meet tax and accounting obligations, reconcile against Stripe, and respond to lawful requests. This is described in our Privacy Policy.

13Availability & changes to the service

We work to keep the Service available but don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may set or adjust reasonable limits. Some features depend on third parties (for example, payments via Stripe, email via Mailjet, and AI processing) and may be unavailable if those providers are.

14Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that using the Service will result in any job, interview, or employment outcome.

15Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeGet will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. In particular, we are not liable for data made permanently unreadable because an Enhanced-encryption password was lost— that trade-off is disclosed and accepted at activation. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

16Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ResumeGet harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of content you submit or export, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

17Suspension & termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — content ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, records retention, and governing law — survive.

18Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

19Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be handled by the courts having jurisdiction over our registered office in Warsaw, Poland. If you are a consumer, nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country where you live.
